Whispers of the Tide Beneath Towering Stones
Huge rocks, blue sky, and crashing waves — nature’s perfect trio at Myers Beach.
Standing at Myers Beach, Oregon, I was completely humbled by the sheer grandeur of the rock formations that rise like ancient sentinels along the shoreline. Towering so high that any person beside them seems almost minuscule, these massive rocks tell stories of time, weather, and the relentless force of the ocean.
Above, the sky stretched wide and blue — a stunning, almost surreal backdrop that made the entire scene feel like a painting come to life. The deep azure hues contrasted beautifully against the dark, rugged cliffs, making the landscape feel both wild and serene at once.
And then there were the waves — powerful and persistent. As they crashed against the jagged rocks, their roar echoed across the beach, a reminder of nature’s raw energy and unyielding rhythm. The sound was hypnotic, a steady pulse that paired perfectly with the visual drama unfolding before me.
This moment at Pistol River Storm was a breathtaking encounter with the ocean’s might and the sky’s endless beauty. It’s a place where you feel both incredibly small and profoundly connected to the earth’s timeless spirit.
